The undefeated Texas Elite Spartans Women's Football team has been selected to participate in the Best of The West Women's Football Championship. The Championship is an event co-hosted by the premier teams in women's football, and will be held in Las Vegas, NV, July 19th - 21st.
The Spartans will conclude the regular season with a rematch of the highway 45 rivalry against the Houston Energy on June 16th. The team will return home to immediately start preparation for the grueling 3-day tournament.
In order to raise travel funds the Spartan ladies are hosting a fun filled game night on June 23rd. The night will be action packed with music, food, raffles and prizes. Mary's kitchen will be preparing a special menu just for this night!
Fans will be able to purchase the latest Spartan gear, as well as participate in the two highlight events of the night... a NERF GUN BATTLE and a DODGE BALL TOURNAMENT.
That's right ALL fans are invited to attend the fundraiser armed with your favorite nerf blaster! Players and staff will be ready to take on the fans on the field at Prestonwood Christian Academy. Event admission is $20 for adults, and $10 for kids (15 and under).
The night will culminate with an epic dodge ball tournament. Fans are encouraged to come as teams, or have the opportunity to be added to a team on game night.
All of the fun will kick off the fundraising effort to help the team raise $10,000 to travel to Las Vegas, NV and represent the great state of Texas in the Best of the West Championship.
