The defending champions of the WNFC have officially unveiled their 2026 slate and with no true “warm-up” games, the games are high stakes from opening kickoff. The Texas Elite Spartans are returning with a powerhouse roster, arguably the league’s top recruiting class, and a schedule that leaves little margin for error.
Opening at home on March 28 against the Mississippi Panthers, the Spartans immediately step into what amounts to playoff-level competition. Every matchup is meaningful and every game will be available live on Victory+ , the same streaming platform that Texas fans use for MLB, NHL and high-school standouts.
Texas Elite Spartans 2026 Schedule
Watch Live on Victory+: The New Home for Texas Sports
For the second season in a row, every Spartans game will stream live on Victory+, the Texas-based sports network that’s also home to the Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and Texas High School Football.
Fans can stream the Spartans all season long on Victory+, available all smartTVs, DirectTV and more.
No Warm-Up Games, Only Heavyweights
After a dominant 8–1 season and a +259 point differential in 2025, the Spartans will navigate a restructured Central Division that may be the toughest in WNFC history.
The division now includes the Mississippi Panthers, Chicago Winds, and Tennessee Trojans, all playoff contenders with rosters built to challenge Texas’s reign. Their home-and-away series with Mississippi highlights the schedule, while the April 18 matchup with Chicago could shape early postseason positioning. Dynasty Core Reloaded
Coach Jenkins brings back her championship nucleus:
Jewelle Grimsley, reigning Defensive MVP, anchors a defense that allowed only 26 points all last season.
Michelle Angel, the Team MVP and one of the most accurate quarterbacks in league history, returns under center to lead an offense that averaged 35.6 points per game.
Whitney Palmer and Waynicia Thomas headline a fearsome defensive front, with Renee Fruean and Fancy Robinson returning inside to shut down opposing run games.
On the offensive line, longtime standout Umeki Webb has retired, making way for veteran Sarah Clark, who steps into a permanent starting role after years of steady contribution in the trenches.
Rivalries Renewed, Stakes Raised
The April 4 road game against the Washington Prodigy is circled on every WNFC calendar. Washington who took the Spartans to final minute in a historic championship game, went 8–1 last season and led the league in scoring, making this matchup an early test for both powerhouses.
The April 18 showdown vs. Chicago Winds features two of the WNFC’s top-scoring offenses, while the April 25 trip to Tennessee provides a tough midseason road test in a hostile environment.
Simply put: there are no off weeks on this schedule.
A Dynasty Continued:
Five championships. A global following. A legacy of excellence. The Texas Elite Spartans have redefined women’s football, but 2026 could be their biggest challenge yet.
“We respect everyone, but we fear no one,” Coach Odessa OJ' Jenkins said. “The league keeps getting stronger, and that’s exactly how we like it.”
The quest for a sixth title begins March 28. Every snap will be streamed live on Victory+ — and every opponent will be gunning for the throne.
