Fresh off capturing their sixth Women's National Football Conference (WNFC) National Championship, the Texas Elite Spartans coaching staff is taking its championship blueprint overseas.
This weekend, Head Coach Odessa Jenkins, Defensive Coordinator Lakisha Spain, and Offensive Line Coach Elizabeth Jenkins will serve as featured speakers at the British American Football Coaches Association (BAFCA) Coaching Convention in Nottingham, England, joining coaches from around the world to share the systems, leadership principles, and football strategies behind one of the most successful programs in tackle football.
Across multiple coaching sessions, the trio will provide attendees with an inside look at the culture, schemes, and organizational philosophy that have fueled the Spartans' remarkable dynasty.
Topics will include building a championship culture, and implementing offensive and defensive concepts that have helped deliver six WNFC national titles.
"This is an opportunity to give back to the global football community," said Head Coach Odessa Jenkins. "Championships are built on culture before they're built on talent. We're excited to share the lessons we've learned while also learning from coaches who are growing the game around the world."
The invitation from the BAFCA reflects the growing international influence of both the Texas Elite Spartans and the WNFC, as coaches across Europe continue seeking insights from one of the premier organizations in women's professional football.
The BAFCA Coaching Convention brings together leading coaches from the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States for two days of education, collaboration, and innovation aimed at advancing American football worldwide.
For the Texas Elite Spartans, the trip represents more than another speaking engagement, it is another opportunity to help grow the game, inspire the next generation of coaches, and demonstrate that championship football knows no borders.
