Today, the Texas Elite Spartans family is proud to celebrate the birthday of someone who rarely takes the spotlight, but whose impact is felt in every game, every comeback, and every win: our team physical therapist, Dr. Skylar Hay.

From the very beginning, Dr. Hay has been a cornerstone of the Texas Elite Spartans. Since the inception of our organization, she has stood in the gap for us, treating injuries, accelerating recovery, and offering relentless support to every woman who’s ever suited up in Spartans blue. She’s the person we turn to when the body needs mending and the mind needs reassurance. Her care isn’t just clinical, it’s personal, powerful, and deeply rooted in her belief in the mission of professional women’s football.
Dr. Hay earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Saint Francis University, and has since dedicated her professional life to movement, healing, and advocacy. She works tirelessly to carve out space for women in a sport that has too often overlooked them. Whether on the sidelines or in the recovery room, Dr. Hay’s presence is our secret weapon, fueling resilience, restoring strength, and making sure that when our athletes step on the field, they’re ready to compete at the highest level.
On this special day, we want to say thank you to Dr. Skylar Hay for her unwavering commitment, expertise, and heart. You are so much more than a physical therapist, you are a part of this team’s soul.
Happy Birthday, Doc. We wouldn’t be who we are without you.
