If you have ever driven around North, Texas (DFW), odds are you know the voice, without even having to say the name. John Liddle has been a staple on DFW radio for over 20 years.

John's career in media started at KNTU-FM at the University of North Texas, where he was the sports director, and learned the play-by-play craft under the legendary Bill Mercer.

John worked for 1080 KRLD in Dallas from 2005 to 2008 before moving on to become the Sports Director for KWEY in Weatherford, Oklahoma until 2016. When his family moved back to Dallas, John soon caught on with KRLD again, this time as a traffic anchor. He had the privilege of moving to the newsroom in late 2018 and caught on quickly as a news anchor.

But John's biggest passion is play-by-play. He is a go-to voice for SMU, North Texas, Tarleton State, Southland Conference, and now for a Texas Women's Football Dynasty - Texas Elite Spartans. John, took the reigns as on-air talent and play-by-play for the WNFC IX CUP Championship game last summer, and will be working to bring the same excitement to a team that already includes awesome game day voices such as Keysha KBRAD Bradley. As a "girl dad" John is a tremendous supporter of Dallas women's professional sports. He is the father of three wonderful girls: Allison, Braelyn, and Gwendolyn. John is a five-time recipient of the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters' Small Market Play-by-Play award and three-time OAB honoree for Best Small Market Commercial and winner of OAB Best Small Market Sportscast.

You can attend all Texas Elite Spartan's home games at Lewisville High School (buy tickets here), or you can watch all 6 regular season games live on Vyre Network (download on SmartTV or any phone).

Welcome to the squad John!
