The Texas Elite Spartans are teaming up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for a powerful Mother’s Day collaboration that brings together football, family, and purpose.

Set against the backdrop of the Spartans’ final regular season home game, this partnership is designed to elevate a message that extends far beyond the field: protecting the people we love starts with the decisions we make every day; especially behind the wheel.

“We are proud to partner with the Texas Elite Spartans for a weekend that celebrates the shared responsibility we all have to keep each other safe,” said Ken Ceaser, Chief People Officer and Chief of Staff at MADD. “By bringing together the power of sports and the mission of MADD, we hope to inspire conversations and actions that help prevent impaired driving and protect lives across our communities.”

Mother’s Day weekend is one of the most meaningful times of the year for families, and also one of the most traveled. By aligning with MADD, the Spartans are using their platform to remind the community that every safe decision matters and that each of us has a role to play in preventing impaired driving and protecting lives.

“This is about showing up for the people who show up for us,” said Odessa OJ Jenkins, Head Coach of the Texas Elite Spartans. “Football brings people together, but purpose is what moves people. This partnership is about honoring our mothers and families by committing to choices that keep them safe.”

The May 9 game offers more than great football, it’s an opportunity for families across the DFW community to come together, celebrate the women who have shaped their lives, and support a mission that has saved hundreds of thousands of lives nationwide.

Fans attending the game will be part of a shared experience rooted in gratitude, accountability, and community impact, proving that sports can be a powerful force for change.
