Texas Elite Spartans Sign 2025 WNFC Rookie of the Year DaJour Miles
The WNFC’s reigning Rookie of the Year brings record-setting production, elite speed and another explosive weapon to the Spartans offense.

The Texas Elite Spartans have added another major weapon to an already loaded offense, signing star wide receiver DaJour Miles in free agency.
Miles (former University of Tennesse track and field record holder) joins Texas Elite after a record-setting 2025 rookie campaign with the Chicago Winds that established her as one of the most explosive young players in the league. In her rookie season, Miles recorded 456 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns, setting
WNFC single-season records in both categories.
DaJour is also the latest former college track star to join the Spartans roster, adding to a group that already includes former Texas Tech sprinter Tara Thomas and former UAB Sprinter Kelli Smith. Her arrival adds another dimension of pure speed to an offense that was already the highest-scoring unit in the WNFC.
Texas Elite averaged 36 points per game during the 2026 regular season, finishing No. 1 in scoring while ranking third in passing at 109 yards per game. Quarterback Michelle Angel threw 13 touchdowns to five different receivers across six regular-season games before the Spartans offense reached another level in the postseason.
Over three playoff games, Angel threw seven touchdown passes, while Maria Jackson and Tara Thomas combined for a whopping nine touchdowns as Texas Elite finished the postseason with the league’s category leader at quarterback, running back and wide receiver. And now the arsenal gets deeper.
Miles joins Jackson, Summer McNeal and a Spartans receiving corps that already presents defenses with problems at every level of the field. For a unit that has been one of the more veteran receiver groups in the league, the addition also represents something important for Texas Elite’s future: The Spartans just got younger.
Miles brings world-class athleticism, proven WNFC production and a hunger to be great. After just one season, she has already shown what she can do, and still has plenty left to prove.
Now she joins a championship locker room, a proven coaching staff and an offense built to maximize explosive playmakers.
The Spartans got younger. They got faster. And one of the league’s most dangerous young receivers just found a new home. New season. New weapons. Same standard.
