Texas Elite Spartans Welcome Mo Wells as Minority Investor
Veteran sports investor, entrepreneur, hospitality owner and performance executive joins the ownership group of the Texas Elite Spartans.

The Texas Elite Spartans are proud to announce that Mo Wells has joined the organization as a minority investor, adding an experienced entrepreneur, sports executive and investor to the ownership group behind one of women’s football’s most accomplished clubs.
Wells has built a career at the intersection of pro sports, entrepreneurship, investment and hospitality. His background includes leadership roles with IMG Academy, House of Athlete, The Kollective/Sports Academy and Elite Performance, with work spanning the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB and Olympic sports.
He has also played a significant role in professional football, helping prepare multiple NFL Combine classes and working with elite athletes including Ja’Marr Chase, Bijan Robinson, Leonard Fournette, Justin Jefferson, Jarvis Landry and Patrick Queen.
Beyond sports performance, Wells is part of ArkDal Hospitality Group, the Dallas-based hospitality company behind VELOUR Restaurant in Victory Park and Wings By the Pound in Deep Ellum. His experience building consumer-facing businesses brings valuable perspective in brand, hospitality, audience development and customer experience.
That combination makes Wells a strong fit for the next phase of Texas Elite.
The Spartans enter that phase from a position of strength. The Spartans captured their sixth WNFC Championship in 2026, including back-to-back titles, while seeing growth in ticket sales, digital audience, brand visibility and commercial sponsorships..
That work is happening in Dallas-Fort Worth, one of the most competitive sports markets in the country and home to some of the most recognizable professional sports brands in America. Texas Elite Spartans intends to compete at that level for fans, partners, attention and investment.
Wells’ investment also reflects a larger shift across women’s football. WNFC clubs are increasingly attracting entrepreneurs, executives, investors and experienced business leaders who see the growing opportunity in the sport. Texas Elite believes professionalizing women’s football requires more than elite athletes. It requires sophisticated ownership, strong infrastructure and investors who understand sports, media, hospitality, consumer behavior and capital.
The broader WNFC continues to grow as well. In 2026, the league generated 227.9 million social impressions, nearly 1.6 billion earned-media impressions and more than 1.4 million live television and streaming viewers, while maintaining its national championship presence on ESPN2.
For Texas, the foundation is already in place: a championship product, top athletes, a recognized brand and a growing audience. The opportunity now is to accelerate the business around it. Wells brings more than capital. His network across professional football, performance, hospitality, entrepreneurship and the Dallas business community adds strategic value as the Spartans continue to expand.
Championship teams require championship infrastructure.
Texas Elite is continuing conversations with a select group of investors, executives and strategic partners interested in ownership and the club’s next stage of growth.
The Spartans have built a championship brand on the field. Now, they are building the ownership group and business infrastructure to match it.
Welcome to the Squad Mo!
